Boil or steam the green beans until cooked.
While you wait for the green beans to cook, heat oil in a pan and add the onions and garlic. Sauté until translucent or cook until browned. Set aside.
Add the cooked green beans to the same pan and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the green beans on a plate, add the onions on top and garnish with parmesan cheese. You can also mix the onions with the green seeds and just garnish with the parmesan.
