Custard cookies
Quick and easy custard cookies recipe . Soft, golden, fork‑pressed biscuits baked in just 10–12 minutes. Perfect for tea‑time, lunchboxes, or festive treats!
- 340 g butter/margarine
- 100 g icing sugar
- 5 ml vanilla extract Optional
- 325 g cake flour
- 175 g custard powder
- 20 ml baking powder
- Salt
Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a baking tray.
Cream the spread and add the sugar and mix.
Add the flavoring and mix well (if using)
Add the flour, custard powder, baking powder, and salt.
Mix well and knead lightly to form a dough.
Roll the dough into balls and place them on the baking tray(s).
Flatten with a fork and bake for 10–12 minutes.
