Ingredients
- 340 g butter/margarine
- 100 g icing sugar
- 5 ml vanilla extract Optional
- 325 g cake flour
- 175 g custard powder
- 20 ml baking powder
- Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a baking tray.
- Cream the spread and add the sugar and mix.
- Add the flavoring and mix well (if using)
- Add the flour, custard powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix well and knead lightly to form a dough.
- Roll the dough into balls and place them on the baking tray(s).
- Flatten with a fork and bake for 10–12 minutes.
