Chicken noodle soup

This creamy chicken noodle soup is a quick and comforting meal for cold days. Made with shredded chicken, corn, and a smooth white sauce using Nestlé Cremora, it’s rich, satisfying, and easy to make. Serve it with warm bread for the ultimate cosy dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp margarine
  • 6 tbsp cake flour
  • ¾ cup Nestlé Cremora Original
  • cups hot water
  • Salt & pepper to season
  • 4 chicken breasts cooked and shredded
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 L Chicken stock

Instructions
 

For the white sauce

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the margarine.
  • Add the flour and whisk continuously to form a smooth roux. Cook for 1–2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.
  • In a separate bowl, dissolve the Cremora in hot water until fully combined.
  • Gradually whisk the Cremora mixture into the roux, stirring continuously until smooth and thickened.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

For the soup

  • Mix the white sauce and chicken stock together, add the con and chicken and simmer over medium heat
  • Serve warm with bread of choice
