  • 4 slices banana bread thick-cut for best texture
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions
 

  • In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar until smooth.
  • Gently dip each slice into the mixture, coating both sides. Avoid soaking too long, as banana bread is delicate.
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and oil. Fry each slice for about 2 minutes per side, until golden and slightly crisp.
  • Plate the warm French toast, drizzle with honey and garnish of your choice.
