
Turkish Delight Hot Chocolate
A luxurious hot chocolate infused with delicate rose flavours and topped with whipped cream and Turkish delight. This cozy drink is perfect for winter and special occasions.
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1–2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cornflour optional, for thickness
- ¼ tsp rose water or 1–2 tsp rose syrup
- Pinch of salt
To serve:
- Whipped cream
- Cocoa powder for dusting
- Turkish delight to garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, whisk cocoa powder, sugar and cornflour with a little milk to form a smooth paste.
- Gradually whisk in the remaining milk.
- Heat gently, stirring, until hot and slightly thickened.
- Stir in rose water or rose syrup and a pinch of salt.
- Pour into a mug, top with whipped cream, dust with cocoa and finish with a piece of Turkish delight.
Notes
Use 50g chocolate instead of cocoa for a richer hot chocolate
