Turkish Delight Hot Chocolate

A luxurious hot chocolate infused with delicate rose flavours and topped with whipped cream and Turkish delight. This cozy drink is perfect for winter and special occasions.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1–2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cornflour optional, for thickness
  • ¼ tsp rose water or 1–2 tsp rose syrup
  • Pinch of salt

To serve:

  • Whipped cream
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • Turkish delight to garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, whisk cocoa powder, sugar and cornflour with a little milk to form a smooth paste.
  • Gradually whisk in the remaining milk.
  • Heat gently, stirring, until hot and slightly thickened.
  • Stir in rose water or rose syrup and a pinch of salt.
  • Pour into a mug, top with whipped cream, dust with cocoa and finish with a piece of Turkish delight.

Notes

Use 50g chocolate instead of cocoa for a richer hot chocolate
