Peppermint Hot Chocolate

A refreshing twist on classic hot chocolate with a hint of mint, topped with marshmallows. Perfect for festive or cozy winter moments.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 –2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cornflour optional
  • ¼ –½ tsp mint syrup or to taste
  • Pinch of salt

To serve:

  • Marshmallow
  • Matcha powder for dusting
  • Optional: mint sprigs

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, whisk cocoa powder, sugar and cornflour with a little milk until smooth.
  • Add remaining milk and heat gently, stirring, until hot and slightly thickened.
  • Stir in mint syrup and a pinch of salt.
  • Pour into a mug, top with a marshmallow and lightly dust with matcha powder.

Notes

Use 50g chocolate instead of cocoa for a richer hot chocolate
