
White Wine Chicken Penne Pasta

Ingredients
- 250 g penne pasta cooked
- 2 chicken breasts cooked and sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- ½ cup dry white wine
- ½ cup cream
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Fresh sage leaves
- Thyme
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese optional
Instructions
- In a large pan, heat the butter over medium heat until it starts to brown.
- Add the minced garlic and sage leaves to the pan. Sauté until fragrant.
- Slowly pour in the white wine, whisking to combine with the butter and garlic.
- Gradually add the cream, continuing to whisk until the sauce is well blended.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese (if using), and season with salt, thyme and pepper to taste.
- Cook the sauce for an additional 2 minutes, or until it has thickened to your desired consistency.
- Add the cooked penne pasta and sliced chicken to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately, with extra grated Parmesan cheese on top for added flavor.
