Our visit to Schoon in Somerset West last August was one such memorable experience. The delightful ambiance, combined with the mouth-watering dishes and the warmth of a fireplace, created an unforgettable visit that I still cherish.

During our visit, I indulged in their brioche French toast with guava and orange jam. The combination of flavors was extraordinary – the sweetness of the guava, the slight tang from the orange, and the soft, buttery brioche made every bite a delight. My partner opted for a hearty breakfast, and from the satisfied look on his face, it was clear that Schoon didn’t disappoint.
