Ingredients
- 4-8 48g each Cadbury Lunch Bars
- 1 650g box chocolate cake mix
- 3 extra-large eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 ½ cups cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C, fan-assist, and lightly grease a rectangular 30x40cm baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Slice the Cadbury Lunch Bars into even-sized pieces. Set ½ of the Lunch Bar pieces aside to be used when serving.
- Pour the chocolate cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil and 1 cup hot water into a mixing bowl dish. Mix until a chocolate cake batter forms. Fold in ½ the chopped chocolate pieces until well incorporated and use the back of the spoon to smoothen the top. *Chef’s Tip: The batter can be made directly in the baking dish to reduce the dishes that need to be washed!
- Pour the cake batter into the baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until risen and baked through. When ready, remove the cake from the oven and set it aside to cool. For the topping:
- Whip the cream until soft peaks form.*Chef’s Tip: Careful not to overmix the cream.
- Spoon the whipped cream over the cooled cake and garnish with the remaining chopped Lunch Bar pieces.
- Slice the cake into even squares, serve and ENJOY!
