Ingredients

  • ¼ cup almond butter or other nut/seed butter of choice
  • ¼ cup honey
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • ¼ cup seed mixture
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • ¼ cup freeze dried strawberries and bananas
  • Freeze dried edible flowers optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 160°C and line a standard-size baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the almond butter, honey, salt, rolled oats, chia and seeds. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet, spreading it into an even layer. Use additional baking sheets as needed if increasing the batch size.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, keeping a close eye on it toward the end to prevent burning. The granola is done when it is fragrant and darkened in color.
  • Note: For chunkier granola, do not toss while baking. For a more crumbly texture, stir the granola at the halfway point.
  • Once browned, remove from the oven and toss gently to let the heat escape. Cool completely on the baking sheet.
  • Mix in the freeze dried strawberries, bananas, and flowers if using.
  • Serve with your choice of yogurt or milk, or enjoy it on its own as a tasty snack.
