Notes
Marty's is a South African-born brand offering a range of spiced tomato juices, including a Virgin Bloody Mary. Founded by siblings Martin and Paula Raubenheimer, the brand was inspired by Martin’s passion for creating the perfect tomato cocktail. Marty’s stands out with its focus on clean ingredients, including locally-sourced whole tomatoes, gut-friendly apple cider vinegar, and no added sugar, gluten, or preservatives. The juice is lighter on the palate compared to other options, making it a refreshing, umami-rich alternative in the no/low alcohol space.
The brand has grown from humble beginnings, starting in a garage, to achieving international success, including launching in the UK. Marty’s products are available at major South African retailers like Spar and Checkers, with plans to expand into airlines as a popular in-flight option due to its unique umami flavor profile, which is unaffected by altitude. Sustainability is a core value, as the brand supports local communities and prioritizes eco-friendly practices like bottling in glass
