Chicken breasts wrapped in bacon

Ingredients
  

For the chicken in bacon:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 250 g bacon
  • Salt and pepper
  • Stuffing of your choice

Stuffing idea:

  • 1 container cream cheese 175 g
  • ½ c cheese grated
  • ¼ t garlic
  • 700 g small potatoes cut in half

Serving ideas:

  • Baked potatoes
  • Salad

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C and prepare a pan.
  • Cut a slit lengthwise halfway down each chicken breast; do not cut all the way through.
  • Mix the cream cheese, cheese and garlic together in a mixing bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the stuffing to each chicken breast.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper over the chicken and wrap the chicken breast with 2 strips of bacon. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared pan with the potatoes surrounding the chicken. Season the potatoes to taste.
  • Place in the oven and bake for ± 40 minutes or until the bacon is brown.
  • Serve with side dishes of your choice.
